ELIZABETH SHAW-CONNALLY (Associate)

Elizabeth Shaw-Connally was born in Columbus, Ohio. Ms. Shaw-Connally graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Women Studies. Prior to obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center she worked as a crisis counselor for victims of domestic violence and runaway teenagers. While earning her law degree she interned with the 17th Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem program representing abused and neglected children in court.

Ms. Shaw-Connally earned her law degree in 2001 and became an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Florida Civil Rights Division. Ms. Shaw-Connally was a member of the voting reapportionment team and participated in drafting memorandum of law in support of the Florida Attorney General’s oral argument in front of the Supreme Court of Florida.

Prior to joining Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg and Zlotnick P.A., Ms. Shaw-Connally was an associate at a civil litigation defense firm in Hollywood, Florida specializing in the area of personal injury protection and bodily injury related to automobile accidents.

Ms. Shaw-Connally was formerly an executive board member and secretary for the Equal Opportunities Law Section of the Florida Bar and was previously an executive board member for the Broward County Women Lawyers Association.


Prior to joining Roig, Kasperovich, Tutan & Woods, P.A., Ms. Shaw-Connally was an associate at a civil litigation defense firm in Hollywood, Florida specializing in the area of personal injury protection and bodily injury related to automobile accidents.

Ms. Shaw-Connally was formerly an executive board member and secretary for the Equal Opportunities Law Section of the Florida Bar and is currently an executive board member for the Broward County Women Lawyers Association.
