LAUREN E. ABBOTT (Associate)

Lauren E. Abbott was born in Oxford, Connecticut and relocated with her family to Boca Raton, Florida in 1987. Ms. Abbott earned her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Florida in 2003, graduating cum laude. She earned her law degree, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2008.

While in law school, Ms. Abbott served as a Certified Legal Intern at the State Attorney’s Office for the 11th Judicial Circuit. Due to her high academic performance, she was selected to work in the law school’s Dean’s Fellow program as a student teacher for three semesters. She was a staff editor of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review, and also served as a member of the Honor Council. In addition, Ms. Abbott participated in several trial and moot court competitions, winning the school-wide Mock Trial Competition in 2006.

Ms. Abbott has clerked in both insurance defense and personal injury law firms. As an attorney, she worked briefly for a Social Security law firm before joining Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg & Zlotnick, P.A.
