Matthew L. Napier is an associate in the Deerfield Beach office of Roig Lawyers.
Matthew’s main area of practice is First Party Property and Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault litigation. Matthew worked for the firm as a law clerk prior to joining the firm as an attorney.
While in law school, Matthew worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the Nova Southeastern University Environmental and Land Use Law Clinic. He advocated to protect the environment and restore sensitive areas such as the Florida Keys and the Florida Everglades and worked with different Federal, State and Local agencies who are involved with land use and environmental law. Matthew also provided pro bono legal representation for individuals and interest groups with land use and/or environmental law issues.
Matthew also worked for a bankruptcy and insolvency boutique law firm as a law clerk where he assisted the firm in managing hundreds of real-estate properties on behalf of the United States bankruptcy trustee. He also worked as a law clerk for a solo practitioner whose primary focus included family law, wills & trusts, bankruptcy, and other general areas of practice.
Prior to law school, Matthew served as an intern with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. He worked closely with the Department’s Disproportionate Minority Contact (DMC) Coordinator in regards to promoting the DMC’s initiatives and goals among Florida government agencies, organizations, and interest groups.
