Philip L. Colesanti is an associate in the Tampa office of Roig Lawyers.

Philip concentrates his practice primarily on Florida’s No-Fault Law/Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Litigation where he handles cases from inception through trial. Prior to joining the firm, Philip practiced criminal defense at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office. He has tried over 30 jury trials at both the misdemeanor and felony level.

While in law school, Philip interned for the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office, the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office and was a student attorney at the FIU College of Law Family and Children’s Advocacy Clinic where he received the clinic’s Excellence in Service award. He was also the attorney general of the university-wide FIU Student Government Association.

Philip obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in 2009 from the University of Central Florida. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Florida International University College of Law in 2012.
