John S. Leinicke of Roig Lawyers Accepted to the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s 2014-2015 Class of Leadership Miami

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across seven offices throughout Florida, is pleased to announce that John S. Leinicke, associate in the Miami office, has been accepted to the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s 2014-2015 Leadership Miami® program.

Leadership Miami offers its members the opportunity to meet Miami’s leaders and to share an intensive learning experience that focuses on community issues and leadership skills. The purpose of Leadership Miami is to prepare the next generation of Miamians to meet future challenges. The program provides members with lectures, seminars, and small group discussions, and leadership skills exercise to address vital issues affecting Miami-Dade County. This dynamic format stimulates vigorous and animated discussions by all participants.

John’s practice primarily focuses on first-party litigation, fraud investigation, and statutory compliance issues involving medical licensure. John also has experience in the practice areas of medical malpractice and product liability.

John is the current president of the Dade County Defense Bar Association, South Florida’s oldest voluntary bar organization. The DCDBA was formed to further the education, ethics, and professionalism of the Miami-Dade local legal community.  Prior to being elected as President of the DCDBA in 2014, John was the organization’s vice-president from 2013—2014.

John’s other current professional and community activities also include membership in the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute (“DRI”).  As a member of the DRI, John has sat on the Young Lawyers Steering Committee for the past three years.

John is a graduate of Boston University (B.A., 2004) and the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., 2008).
