Julie Harris Nelson, Partner in the Miami office of ROIG Lawyers, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association for 2017—2018.
About the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association
GSCBWLA is a professional association, formed in 1985, that concentrates on the development of its members and on community service. The association’s mission is to address the concerns of women lawyers and to address the legal, social, and economic needs of the Black community and the community-at-large. GSCBWLA is a network of attorneys dedicated to community service and the professional development of its members. GSCBWLA currently represents over 350 men and women law students, lawyers, and judges throughout the State of Florida.
