ROIG Lawyers Attorney Appointed to Broward Bar Leadership Position

Leonardo Gomez, an attorney in the Deerfield Beach office of ROIG Lawyers, was appointed vice-chairperson of the North Broward Section of the Broward County Bar Association. The term begins July 1, 2016, and concludes June 30, 2017.

Leo’s tasks will include organizing continuing legal education seminars and securing writers within the North Broward Section to contribute to Barrister, the Broward Bar’s monthly legal publication. The appointment shows that Leo is a leader in the Broward legal community, according to Braulio Rosa, executive director of the Broward Bar. Rosa added that serving as a section chair provides a crucial service to the Broward Bar and the community at large.

Leo’s first order of business will be July’s Section Chair lunch retreat hosted by the Broward Bar to prepare him for his responsibilities.

About the Attorney

Leo defends some of the nation’s largest insurance carriers and their insureds. He has extensive experience handling Examinations Under Oath (EUO) and Fraud (SIU) Investigations as well as litigating complex insurance matters and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) in Florida state courts. Leo traveled across the U.S. as a national recruiter for his alma mater, the New England School of Law.
