About the Attorneys

Michael is the firm’s managing partner and guides the strategic direction of the firm and co-chairs its management committee. Michael plays a leading role in ensuring the firm’s continued commitment to the highest levels of client service and in strengthening its dedication to diversity and attorney excellence. His practice focuses on litigating complex insurance cases in the areas of fraud (SIU) investigations, Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault litigation, and Examinations Under Oath (EUO) in federal and state courts.

Nelson is the managing partner of the Miami office and practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, insurance defense litigation, insurance fraud special investigations, finance law, products liability and shareholder and partnership disputes. He has successfully defended Fortune 100 companies in trial matters involving premises liability, products liability, warranty claims, fraud, and breach of contract.

Drew is the managing partner in the West Palm Beach office and practices in the areas of insurance defense litigation, and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) cases throughout Florida. He has devoted 12 years to developing close working relationships with national and regional insurance companies. He defends carriers on a variety of issues including staged accidents, coverage issues, Examinations Under Oath, breach of contract disputes, declaratory actions, and petitions for writs of discovery. Drew also has extensive experience with investigations pertaining to insurance fraud.
