Roig Lawyers Partner Speaks at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Law Center Plus Seminar Series

January 20, 2016

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, is pleased to announce that Stephen G. Mellor will be a speaker at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Law Center Plus Seminar Series: The Balancing Act: Managing Work & Life in a 24/7/365 World at NSU’s Shepard Broad College of Law Atrium on January 22, 2016.

The seminar will provide an interactive role play and panel discussion among experienced attorneys who will share how they manage the competing demands of their clients, their law practice, and their family. “In this fast paced and high stressed world, it is essential for us, as attorneys, to know how to mitigate our time between work, family and leisure,” said Stephen. “I will be able to offer advice and some solutions that have worked for me throughout my legal career.” Stephen will be joined by Seminar Moderator, Leslie L. Cooney, J.D., and Speakers Jaime Tartar, Ph.D., and Sarahnell Murphy, Esq.

Stephen is a graduate of NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center. He concentrates his practice in PIP/No-Fault litigation, bodily injury and premises liability. Stephen is experienced in the interpretation of out-of-state insurance contracts, including the application of Canadian and other substantive state law to Florida insurance claims. He also handles complex cases involving admiralty and maritime issues.
