Keith Hernandez and Dennis LaRosa to Present CE Course on Emergency Medical Condition Examination Protocols for ARNPs at the 2017 MCDN Fall Seminar

ROIG Lawyers is a proud sponsor of the Medical Claims Defense Network, Inc.’s (MCDN) Fall Seminar on October 26, 2017, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld.

ROIG Partner Keith Hernandez and Healthcare Policy Advisor Dennis LaRosa are teaming up with Janet C. DuBois, ARNP, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP of The University of Arizona College of Nursing to present “Analysis of Emergency Medical Condition (EMC) Examinations Performed Pursuant to Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Protocols.” The presenters will discuss the statutory requirement to maintain protocols, how those protocols are properly established, and how to determine if services are lawfully rendered under the PIP statute where there has been a failure to maintain and practice within those protocols.
