Roig Lawyers Announces New Practice

September 24, 2015

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, continues its expansion with the addition of its Family Law practice. The Family Law practice offers a proactive and creative approach to complex, complicated, and emotionally charged family law issues such as dissolutions of marriage, property division, alimony, mediation, pre-and post-nuptial agreements, Department of Revenue support actions, parental relocation, child custody, and time-sharing and support.

The practice area is led by attorney, Daphne M. Robinson Shaw who handles all aspects of family law and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar where she serves on the Domestic Violence and Children’s Issues committees and is a volunteer at the Family Law Client Intake Clinic and the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Family Forms Clinic. She received her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law and her Bachelor of Applied Science from Clayton State University.

“Having experienced many of these issues firsthand, I am able to empathize with our clients as they navigate through one of the most difficult times of their lives. My goal is to identify the needs of our clients and their families, and to educate them on what the law says and how the law will likely be applied to their particular situation so that they can make the best long term decision for the well being of their families,” said Robinson Shaw.

The addition of the family law practice will expand our legal services and will enable us to meet the needs of our growing clientele. The wealth and depth of knowledge and experience that Daphne has in family law is a key asset for our firm as we continue to expand into other areas of civil litigation,” said Michael A. Rosenberg, firm managing partner.
